Hana Yamamoto (b.1999, Chiba) is an artist. She presents intermediate existence evoking emotional change, influenced by the suburban landscapes with photography-based methods. Japanese coastal and industrial sceneries developed after 1980, and experiences embodied throughout living in a broad array of metropolitan around Tokyo are incorporating her to the back-and-forth between hard(things) and soft(lives) to explore for image making. In addition, she treats photographing and editing as equivalent in the process of making, often layered images with each other as well. It turns out her works highlight the sense of touch in vision.
Currently lives and works in Tokyo and Chiba, Japan
BA at Tama Art University, Art and Media in the IDD (Tokyo, Japan)
